Our recent production of Dido Through the Looking Glass – The Musical highlighted the wealth of talent that we have in our community, both young and senior.
So, for our first Friends of Dido fundraising event we would like to give members of our community, any age or background, the opportunity to SHINE and have their 3 minutes of fame.
As a Black History event, we will showcase our heroes and sheroes from the British Black community who have made a significant contribution to society.
The event takes place at, and is sponsored by Goldsmiths Community Centre, Catford SE6 1QD on Friday 28th October from 6.30pm – 9.30pm. Buy your ticket(s) to watch the show via Eventbrite . For an extra £1 you can book one of the 15 performers’ slots, we are looking for variety: music, drama, comedy, spoken word, poetry, magic, dance… from all members of the community; any age – any background
Each act is limited to 3 minutes to allow maximum participation, so register early to avoid disappointment.
